what is the story about?
treats Pocahontas is a young Indian woman with
a free and adventurous spirit who is torn between doing the right thing or
following what her heart dictates. He lives in a quiet village with his little
friends Flip (hummingbird) and Meiko, and following the advice of Abuela Sauce,
a magic tree. Powhatan, head of the tribe and father of the protagonist, wants
to marry his daughter with Kocoum, but she refuses to accept that this is her
new future.
In 1607, in London, a ship of English settlers
departed for the "New World" in search of glories and riches. Their
arrival to the land, puts on alert the Indians, who prepare an attack against
them. Ratcliffe, the governor of the ship, asks the crew to dig as soon as
possible, as he is aware that the Indians have planned a strategy against them.
In the crew was a blond and handsome man named John Smith and that when he
reached the promised land, he met Pocahontas, which he fell in love with.
The Indians want to defeat the whites and for
this, they ask for reinforcements. Pocahontas tries to avoid war by talking to
his parents. On the other hand, Ratcliffe decides to prepare his men to fight,
and John Smith also tries to avoid the battle telling his governor that they
are peaceful people. The two protagonists meet at the agreed place. Kocoum, a
warrior Indian and Pocahontas fiancé sees them together and believing it to be
a trap, decides to attack John. Thomas, an English sailor who had followed
John, shot Kocoum to death, and then blamed Thomas for that, but he flees. The
Indians take John as a prisoner believing that he has committed the murder, and
come to an agreement to execute him at dawn. Thomas informs this to the
governor Ratcliffe, who without thinking it decides to attack the dawn.
